Boom Town Makers Market
324 Gault Ave
Fort Payne, AL
(256) 273-6929
Boom Town Makers Market, a vibrant showcase of Southern craftsmanship located in the heart of Fort Payne, Alabama. Founded in 2016, we handpick an inspiring array of jewelry, home goods, gourmet foods, pottery, hand-blown glass, sculptures, furniture, and more—all beautifully made by over 60 talented makers.
Located in the historic Sawyer Building (circa 1878), Boom Town Makers Market is more than just a market; it’s a tribute to Fort Payne’s rich history. Named after the town’s “Boom Days” in the late 1800s, when coal and iron ore discoveries sparked rapid growth, Boom Town captures that spirit of innovation and community. During that boom, iconic landmarks like the Fort Payne Opera House and Train Depot were built, and these historic sites still stand just steps from our doors, welcoming visitors to this day.
